Eshe (pronounced Ee-sha) Killian is a mental health and wellness advocate, speaker, ordained minister and author from Long Island, New York. Her passion for inspiring others to develop and reach their fullest potential in life, comes from her own personal journey of perseverance through life’s challenges.
Rev. Eshe is an Associate Minister at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of NY, recently ordained by the AME denomination in April 2022. She also serves with The Faith Community of Atlanta, a welcoming and affirming ministry who lovingly call her “Rev. Princess Eshe”. Eshe recently graduated from New Brunswick Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, Cum Laude in May 2022 and was the recipient of the 2022 CERCA Christian Education Award for gifts and achievements that show the most promise for Christian education.
Eshe gained a thirst for knowledge at an early age, which guide the value she places on success through learning and education. Defying the odds, Eshe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from New York University (NYU) and a Master of Public Administration degree in Nonprofit Management with honors from Long Island University, C.W Post by 27 years old after becoming a young mother. A heart to help others and skill in compliance and management, Eshe began her career in social services and held senior management positions for nonprofits, healthcare administration agencies and local government throughout her 22-year career. Eshe is currently the Director of Quality Assurance and Training for WeCARE, a clinical care management program at Montefiore Health System in the Bronx. She is the Learning Coordinator for the Thriving in Ministry WELL Program, a Lilly Endowment Fund initiative that supports Black and Latinx pastors with their emotional well-being and self-care plans. Eshe is also a Board Member of the Child Care Council of Nassau, serving since 2020.
Founder of Eshe Speaks, Eshe self-identifies as a body and sex-positive Christian womanist preacher, recognizing that God uses her unique experiences and transparency to minister to others who are allowing trauma and the pain of their past to hold them back from being who they were destined to be. Eshe has spoken to teen mothers at shelters, presented at women’s’ conferences, speaking with transparency, confident that God uses her to allow others to recognize that they can not only be healed, but delivered by the blood of the Lamb and the word of her testimony.
Eshe has been putting ink to paper, writing a much-anticipated book about her journey toward emotional and spiritual healing entitled, “No Shame Here!!™”
Eshe co-parents with God, raising her two beautiful children: Kela (“Kay-la”) and Anthony. She cares for her elderly grandmother, enjoys dining, attending Broadway shows, cats, and spending time with close friends.
